Objectives of the Project

The Association for Family and Community Health Development has the family and the community as her focus. It is the desire of AFCHD to support families and community to be able to take care of their immediate needs and by so doing be law abiding and live a fulfilled life. Part of this, is being able to equip individuals who have learnt a trade to establish a business, thereby taking care of themselves and at the same time contributing to the well-being of the community and the nation as a whole.

Beneficiary

During our visit to SOSAID Charity Home, Okota, Lagos, AFCHD learnt that some of the inmates have learnt some trade and are ready to start their own businesses. Their needs included sewing machines and hair dryers. AFCHD immediately swung into action and procured sewing machines and hair dryers which was donated to SOSAID Charity Home to support these women. This was to assist them to go into the society and start life again and most importantly have a means of livelihood.
